2009 user.r rebol Of The Year

Brian Hawley

Brian Hawley has been voted the second recipient of the user.r rebol Of The Year award. Brian is always busy supporting the REBOL community and a vote on Altme world REBOL 3 led to this proud presentation.

We all wish to congratulate Brian and to thank him for his many contributions to REBOL releases. user.r is proud to present the second annual roty to our good Mr. Hawley. Congratulations to our 2009 rebol Of The Year.

We'd also like to thank Ashley Trüter of Dobeash Software, roty 2008 for past and present contributions.

And thanks to the other 2009 nominees, Nenad and Henrik, their efforts being greatly appreciated.

Cheers from the REBOL Week crew. It's going to be another good year.

RebDB 3

Dobeash meets REBOL/3

Just yay.

To try Ashley Trüter's shiny new take on databasing:

From an r3 console (tested under a96)
import http://idisk.me.com/dobeash/Public/rebdb.r
help db-
test: db-load http://idisk.me.com/dobeash/Public/test.bin
help test
sql select test

More soon. Docs pending ... and Dobeash does docs

Just yay.

Alpha 97
